Hedgerow Software recently had the opportunity to meet with California environmental health leaders at the annual CCDEH conference in beautiful Lake Tahoe (Image Credit: Palisades Tahoe). While Hedgerow has long been the dominant environmental health software provider in Canada, and has established client bases in numerous US states, it was clear that California has specific application needs. Hedgerow was able to participate in several valuable activities at CCDEH, including a consortium where business and IT teams shared valuable insights with our team.
ehs technology roadmap validation
What made these activities so exciting is validation for the hard work the Hedgerow product and services teams have done over the last few years. Especially for the exceptional US and Canadian Hedgerow development teams, many of which helped build the original Envision Connect application and interface, as part of Decade Software in Fresno, California.
As Hedgerow CEO Neil Grinwis presented in Tahoe, we’re happy to report we’ve made significant advancements in these key areas:
- Hedgehog Mobile, a browser-based, device agnostic EHS field solution (Microsoft, iOS, Android, etc.)
- Hedgehog Portal and Payments, including two way communication functionality
- California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) Integrations
- Multilingual capability for inspectors, operators, and communities
environmental health vs civic platforms
With Hedgerow Software’s US headquarters in Fresno, we remain committed to providing the highest level of service to agencies for the California environmental health community. It is also worth noting that we are now the only major software provider that is exclusively focused on environmental health, as we have been for the last three decades. While other industry technologists are moving into the realm of large and costly civic platforms, we are firmly committed to providing EHS solutions for environmental health teams.
